Directions from Riverside
Long Freeway Route: Take I-15 south to I-8 in San Diego. Take I-8 east for about 38 miles to the Laguna Junction exit ("Sunrise Highway", or "Route S1"). Drive about 11 miles north on Route S1 to the town of Mt. Laguna. Proceed another 2.5 miles north to the campground on the left.
Note: This is a substantially longer route, but mostly freeway.

Scenic Route: Take I-15 south to either State Route 79 (in Temecula), State Route 76 (Oceanside/Pala off ramp), or State Route 78 (in Escondido). Proceed on any of these routes to the town of Santa Ysabel. From here, continue south on State Route 79, through Julian, and another 6 miles to the turn off to Route S1 (Sunrise Hwy/Mt. Laguna). Proceed about 11 miles on Route S1 to the campground on the right.

Route 76 and 79, I-15 to Santa Ysabel:  42 miles
Route 78, I-15 to Santa Ysabel:         35 miles
