RAS members gather around the 22-inch telescope named "Capella". This telescope is available for viewing the sky during our monthly star parties.

* "New member" is one who has not been a dues paying member of the Riverside Astronomical Society in the past two membership years. "New member" dues constitute full membership in the RAS through June 30, 2009. At that time, regular renewal rates will apply. ** Student is one who is devoting 20 or more hours per week to formal education.
