Our Community Outreach volunteers enjoy setting up their telescopes, especially for the kids. Of course, the RAS defines "kids" as anyone between the ages of 1 and 100.
This is where
the rubber meets the road. The Riverside Astronomical
Society charter is to bring astronomy to the general public, and
this is where we reach out to the public schools and organizations to
accomplish this goal.
