Site Parking Plan

If
you are not a regular visitor to GMARS, it is highly recommended that
you arrive during daylight hours. We cannot guarantee a safe entry
after dark.
GMARS info:
When
you arrive at the site it is critical that you stay on developed areas
where the sandy soil has been compacted. All other sand is very soft.
The
site has water and limited electricity. Parking is available for RVs,
but there are NO HOOKUPS.
Tent camping is permitted
on the property.
Driving
time from Riverside is about 1-1/2 to 2 hours.

You don't have to be
an RAS member, or own a telescope to attend the star party. Member and
club telescopes will be available for public viewing. There is never
a cost involved when sky viewing with the RAS. Our members and friends
will be happy to show you the wonders of the universe.
