Be sure to join us at our next monthly meeting! RAS monthly meetings are your opportunity to attend free presentatons by professional astronomers, catch up on club business, and hear about the latest happenings in the night sky (sometimes the daytime sky too!). Our general meetings are always free and open to the public.

Next Star Party

September 11th – 13th

Come to GMARS to join us at our next star party! We're in Landers, California, which isn't too far from Joshua Tree National Park. Be sure to check the weather so you can dress and prepare accordingly. We'll have a potluck dinner Saturday afternoon/evening so don't forget a side dish to share (not required, of course). We hope to see you there.

Recharge under the night sky, and enjoy great telescopic views of planets, star clusters, nebulae, galaxies and more! GMARS star parties start Friday afternoon/evening and wrap up on Sunday morning.
